UMEUS Nordhavn is a brand-new student co-living site at Helsinkigade 27, opening the doors to more than 200 students on the 1st of February 2022.

The team
You will be part of our UMEUS Nordhavn Host team, which is responsible for the daily operations of the UMEUS CAFÉ. There will be 15+ colleagues in the team, and you will report to the Community Manager of UMEUS Nordhavn.

The position
As Student Host your primary responsibility is to assist in the daily operation of the UMEUS CAFÉ.

Your overall responsibilities

Café activities:

·       General operation of the UMEUS CAFÉ

·       Open/Close the café

·       Sales and serving of beverages and foods

·       Dishwashing and generally maintaining the café area and coffee area

·       Daily cleaning and waste handling

·       Monthly deep cleanse of hood, fridges, and inventory

Administrative activities:

·       Support with ad hoc administrative tasks including but not limited to; Letting management, arrival/departure preparation, mail/parcel handling, student relations, and, if possible, deliver photos or videos for social media.

·       Answer questions from students.

·       Present the site to new students, parents, and others.

Maintenance activities:

·       Support with ad hoc maintenance tasks
