Every inch of UMEUS – from your studio and the study areas to our welcoming staff and community – is developed to help you succeed and grow. Whether you’ve just left home or have been living on your own for years, UMEUS provides the ideal foundation for you to learn and live.
Making space for what matters
At UMEUS we prioritize communal areas with the intent of making it easy for residents to spend time together in their daily lives.

Enabling
We believe that student housing should support personal development and enable a promising student experience - not be a source of stress. We’ve designed UMEUS with this in mind, incorporating both work and social spaces.

Functional
Studios come furnished, reducing the stress of the move-in phase and saving you from expending funds on furniture. Nevertheless, personal spaces are customizable to allow residents to feel at home.

Community
We aspire to create a basis for creating a strong community at UMEUS, but we also expect residents to take initiative and engage with each other. A thriving community is built through the engagement of everyone who takes part in it.
We can’t fabricate fun, but we can facilitate it.
Just like fun, community isn’t something that can be forced. A sense of community develops when different people are placed together, interact, and resolve issues collectively.
We do believe that surroundings can impact the speed at which community arises. We plan our offering – from the application process to the way we assemble the shared spaces – to enable you to grow and thrive together with the community.
Using resources on what makes sense and investing in what brings value
The UMEUS philosophy is to use resources on the aspects that make sense and invest in what brings students the most value.
In order to create the best possible offering at the right price point, it’s essential to prioritize. UMEUS emphasizes quality and what’s important for the students. Quality in this case equals community, functionality, and human interaction on all levels.
This means that communal spaces are prioritized as highly as the private ones. The Studios are more compact, to allow room to invest in bigger and better common areas.
The design philosophy
Each square meter is centered around the notion of community and a fulfilling student life.
You will constantly have opportunities to meet new faces, interact, and connect with others in the communal spaces. At the same time, UMEUS is also designed for calm and focused activities. You will always have the option to close the door and enjoy privacy and moments alone.
