UMEUS Nordhavn is a brand-new student co-living site at Helsinkigade 27, opening the doors to more than 200 students on the 1st of February 2022.
The team
You will be part of our UMEUS Nordhavn Host team, which is responsible for the daily operations of the UMEUS CAFÉ and being responsible for any emergencies during night and weekends. You will report to the Community Manager of UMEUS Nordhavn.
The position
As night and weekend Host your primary responsibility is to be on call during nights and weekends. You will be handed the emergency phone at the beginning of the shift by your colleague at the UMEUS Café and handle all incoming calls. The night shifts will be Monday to Friday from 17.00 to 7.00. Weekend shifts are from 7.00 to 7.00. Your salary will be a fixed amount for each shift – DKK 800 for night shifts and DKK 1600 for weekend shifts. And since the shifts are on-call shifts, you will only be noted for 6 hours pr night shift and 10 hours per weekend shift.

Your overall responsibilities
Café activities:
Open/Close common areas at 23.00 and 6.00
Open/Close the DYI Coffee station at 23.00 and 6.00
Light cleaning the DYI Coffee station
Night and weekend activities:
Answers call from co-living students and assist with different ad hoc assignments that might occur.
Contact person for external partners in case of emergencies (ex. Fire marshal, Plumber, Electric company and so forth.)
Nightly round to make sure main doors are closed and no problems are occurring.
Maintenance activities:
Light facility task
Support with ad hoc maintenance tasks

Good at communicating both in Danish and English
